Returning a cat that you adopted back to the shelter has to be one of the most difficult things that any cat owner can do. Returning a cat is turning its whole world upside down - again. We, as cat owners, know how difficult a move alone can be for a cat, so to not only be moved around but to also change all the people around a cat… that's not something that should be done lightly. But we understand that sometimes, you have to. Maybe you find out that you are incredibly allergic to cats, or maybe your new cat can't get along with the pets you already have, no matter how much you try.
What matters is making sure that the cat is happy and in the best environment that it can be in. After trying. If you already adopted the cat, then you have to give them a real chance. You owe it to them - for turning their world upside down. The family we'll be talking about today… did not give the cat a real chance. And maybe that was a good thing, because it sounds like they didn't deserve to have her in the first place.
